Okay let’s face it...the lady costumes in the new Suicide Squad film are far superior to the male ones. I mean, some of the guys have cool superpowers, but their costumes are pretty boring. Deadshot has the most interesting stuff, and that’s just because he’s Cyborg-y. Best Dressed Anyway, my vote for best-dressed is Katana. Harley Quinn is great with her baseball tee and underwear, but I don’t think that being crazy makes you impervious to cold. I’d be freezing walking around in underwear; everyone else has jackets on! Anyway, Katana has the mask, and her simple white, red, and black costume lends itself to maneuverability and doesn’t leave her over-exposed.

Enchantress also looks cold, and in need of a shower; not sure what’s going on there.

Best Power As for the best power, honestly there are a lot of contenders here. I mean, as far as actual powers go, it’s mostly about El Diablo and Enchantress. Harley Quinn has some cool immunities, and a lot of psychiatric knowledge, not to mention her psychosis, and of course the Joker is a chaotic genius. Katana has a supernatural weapon, but when it comes to truly having supernatural powers, Enchantress really takes the cake. She can heal, walk through walls, and teleport, not to mention that she can also still be a normal person. It’s kinda like a Jekyll/Hyde thing, or like Bruce Banner when he’s not the Hulk. So she’s my favorite.

El Diablo does get an honorable mention in the “best power” category, for being able to set things on fire, and also for being a decent human being.

Biggest Ass Kicker Now, who kicks who’s ass in a fight? Personally, I think the Joker is the smartest and most devious, meaning that he’ll always be one step ahead of the rest. Deadshot has the best chance of sneaking up on anyone, since he’s the expert marksman, so he’s probably second as far as taking everyone else out. But Enchantress can heal, and teleport, so she’s probably the most valuable in a surprise attack. El Diablo could set everyone on fire. Killer Croc has a good chance with his armor-like skin, regeneration skills, and super strength/speed/senses. Katana is a samurai so she’s a fighter, and she has the wisdom of her slain enemies at her beck and call. As for Harley Quinn, her immunity to toxins is undoubtedly useful, but she’s so unhinged that I think she’d have a hard time getting others on her side, and I don’t think she’d last too long alone. Honestly though it’s Rick Flag, Slipknot, and Boomerang that get the shortest straws in the Suicide Squad. If I had to bet, I’d say they’d be the first to go if the Squad had an all-out fight. Their best hope would be to pick the winning team.

So that’s my ranking in order: Joker, Deadshot, Enchantress, El Diablo, Killer Croc, Katana, Harley Quinn, Slipknot, Boomerang, Rick Flag. Did I miss anyone? Of course, considering that the Joker doesn’t make the group shot, he’s probably fighting against the rest of them in the new film which is what will make it fun!
