Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker Trailer is Here!
We found the lack of a Star Wars Episode IX trailer disturbing. Thankfully, though, we’re breathing easier now because we’ve had our first glimpse of the Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker teaser. But, it isn’t like we’ve been watching the trailer on repeat or anything weird like that… We promise! Except that we totally have. In fact, let’s watch it again!

1) New Droid: D-0
BB-8 made a new friend! The adorable R2-D2 and BB-8 might just have some competition in the cute droid category now. D-0 is totally the droid we’ve been looking for!
2) He Smuggled Our Hearts Away: Lando Calrissian
Lando is back! Han Solo’s old friend makes an appearance piloting the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca and — gosh darn it — just look at how happy he is to be behind the wheel!
3) When Stormtroopers Fly: Jetpacks
The saying “when pigs (and stormtroopers) fly” just got a lot more literal. Was that stormtrooper wearing a jetpack? We’re all doomed.
4) Death Star’s Final Resting Place
That’s no moon, that’s the Death Star (in the ocean sleeping with the fishes). Rey and her fellow rebels uncover the final resting place of the destroyed Death Star and now we’re wondering where she is and why she’s there...
5) Emperor Palpatine’s Laugh
As the trailer ends — and the screen goes black — we hear the chilling maniacal laughter of the evil (and hopefully still dead) Emperor Palpatine. Uh oh…zombies?
