This week’s Featured Artist ValeriaArtBoutique shares that her sleek graphics are inspired by the “beautiful drawings” that her mother designed and surrounded her with as a young child. This unique mother-daughter relationship played a significant role in Valeria’s creative process; it allowed her to transform childhood imaginings — inspired by her mother’s work — into a distinctive style of her own. Her minimalistic female-centered designs are meant to “emphasiz[e] feminine beauty in clean lines” and are a fascinating example of one continuous line being used to capture the emotion behind each face.

ValeriaArtBoutique, or Valeria Tsolova, is a 35-year-old artist from Burgas, Bulgaria. When she is not working on mastering digital or traditional art mediums, she also enjoys learning about the lives and artwork of great artists, to help her develop her style further. Her greatest hope is “to continue to build my skills” and reach more people with her art.

Still, she recognizes that one of her greatest challenges is the constant desire to “upgrade” herself as an artist; she always feels the need to push herself to be “more” and be better. However, although she is constantly working to improve herself, she cannot deny that creativity is “love and beauty” and it brings her immense joy to reach “people who truly appreciate my art.” She is excited to pursue her passion for art further and admits, “it satisfies me. But I think the best is yet to come.”
