When life gives you lemons, the artist Crisp1pronunciation gives you lemonade (and art)! The DBH artist creates designs that add the perfect amount of sweetness to what could otherwise be a sour day. His artwork, which he aptly describes as tasting like “grapefruit” is a bright spot in our day. The graphics – like brightly shaded fruit, a picturesque view overlooking a mountain, or palm trees swaying lazily in the sun – make you feel like you can tackle anything life might throw at you.

Crisp1pronunciation is currently living in Kiev, Ukraine, but he is excited about the possibility of moving to Barcelona, Spain someday. He jokes that one of the biggest obstacles in his creative process is simply old fashioned “laziness” and he must actively push himself to finish projects. He confesses, “I am still looking for my own style” but he fervently believes that his art – painting especially – gives him a purpose and “meaning [to] life.”

He admires creators who are “constantly developing and learning something new” because true inspiration can be found anywhere. He, too, hopes to continue to improve and pursue new art ideas that “will change the world for the better.” His passion and drive to create art is unquenchable and he shares, “I will not finish my art while I am alive.”
