Featured Artist: Artado

Artado, or Mantas Mazutis, is an artist from Vilnius, Lithuania who gravitates to designs inspired by “deep space and dark fantasy.” Still, Mantas confesses that he does not have a specific style and, instead, chooses to create art that he thinks his audience will find the most engaging. Fortunately, he never finds himself at a loss for new ideas; he has an extensive and eclectic collection of art to share. However, he admits that he is “a perfectionist, obsessed with productivity and perfect time management.” Nonetheless, he recognizes that being obsessed with perfection is a “burden” that pushes him to stress over projects longer than necessary. He says, “I tend to overwork by trying to improve little things and waste time when no improvement is needed.”

Artado shares that his “small dream” for the future is to bump into a stranger on the street who is wearing one of his t-shirt designs. He jokes that he would tell the person, “It is a very nice t-shirt” and then walk away. Artado believes that seeing his art enjoyed by people is the greatest compliment he could receive. In fact, he believes that sharing one’s creative voice is the highest accomplishment of any artist.
