Featured Artist Update: BobyBerto

Carry a pocket-sized adventure with you wherever you go with this week’s Featured Artist, BobyBerto. Our returning Featured Artist – and longtime DBH creator – showcases a rich variety of designs that add a splash of adventure or a sprinkle of magic to your day.

Whether it’s finding an astronaut stowed away in your pocket or it’s seeing nature burst into a rainbow of color, the world is a more exciting place when seen through the lens of BobyBerto’s art. The prolific artist provides a diverse offering of styles from hats to all-overs; this is just what you need to make your wardrobe pop!

Boby continues to live in the Central Sulawesi Province of Indonesia; he enjoys exploring his home by bike which helps him find inspiration for his designs.

Today, he spends his time perfecting his digital art and exploring his newfound hobby of photo manipulation. He is attempting to combine different art styles, as well as incorporate photo manipulation in his graphics. He calls his new focus “manipulation art.”

Although he admits he still has not found a “definite style” he loves the way that each design will differ “depending on my imagination.” In fact, his ability to remain flexible and fluid with his art allows him to create a variety of designs in his store. He appreciates that his art can “motivate” other people and he loves being able to offer something for everyone.

Boby continues to value balance and he tries to use the daytime for his “personal life” and the evenings for “creative endeavors.” His focus for the future is pursuing his art and supporting his family as an artist.
